I thought of it not only as a memory of a fantastic trip, but also as a visual guide of a breathtaking area. Therefore, I decided to code the landmarks and locations in gold and white: visited and not visited.
With the colour gradient used, combined with multi-directional hillshades, I wanted to emphasize the contrast between the lowlands, where the roadtrip started, and the mountainous areas in the fjords, where it finished.
