In summer 2023, my friend Maciej took his bike and rode from Bydgoszcz to Ustka for over 220 kilometres.
I asked him to send me his GPX data from Strava and created this map for him as a memory of the achievement.
The intention was never to create a map overloaded with details; on the contrary, the idea was to keep it simple while visually appealing.
Thus, I went for a soft colour palette in white-green hues, just displaying the route itself and the natural parks it crosses, rivers and lakes.
Additionally, I added a cross-section elevation profile, complementary to the base map, so it easily shows the height changes along the route.
